Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the Bianchi E-Arcadex Tourer best suited for?
It is designed for riders who want one electric bike for gravel routes, mixed-surface adventures and urban commuting. Its drop-bar design, carbon fork and commuter accessories support both recreational and everyday riding.
What motor does it use, and is it suitable for hills?
It uses a 250W Bosch Performance Line CX motor that produces up to 85Nm of torque. This provides useful assistance for hills and mixed terrain, although performance depends on the gradient, assistance level, rider weight and cargo.
What range can I expect from the 500Wh battery?
The product description states a range of up to 115km and an approximate four-hour charging time. Actual results vary with assistance mode, terrain, elevation, temperature, tire pressure, rider weight, cargo, battery condition and charger.
What drivetrain does the E-Arcadex Tourer use?
It uses a Shimano GRX 600 1×11 drivetrain with one front chainring, an 11-speed rear setup and a Shimano GRX Shadow Plus rear derailleur. This arrangement is designed for straightforward shifting across gravel and paved routes.
What frame and comfort features does it have?
The bike combines an aluminum frame with a full-carbon fork. Its Velomann drop handlebar has a 16-degree flare for control and multiple hand positions, while cork bar tape and a Velomann saddle support comfort on longer rides.
What brakes, tires and accessories are included?
It has Shimano RX400 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors and Continental Terra Trail ShieldWall tires. Listed accessories include SKS A46 mudguards, an SKS Infinity GT3 rear carrier, a 235-lumen Supernova front light and a rear light integrated into the mudguard.
Which frame sizes and colors are available?
The listed frame sizes are 46cm, 49cm, 52cm, 55cm and 58cm, with Kiwi-Moss Green and Desert color options. Confirm the best fit and current availability with Reckless Shipyards before ordering.
What warranty is provided with the frame?
Bianchi frames are covered by the manufacturer’s conventional frame warranty. The coverage period depends on the model, frame material, model year and purchase date. Coverage is subject to Bianchi’s conditions, including purchasing the bike new from an authorized retailer, retaining proof of purchase, registering the frame and following the manufacturer’s use and maintenance requirements.
Can I test ride it before purchasing?
Use the Book a Test Ride page to ask whether the E-Arcadex Tourer is currently available for a test ride. Riding it is the best way to evaluate the frame size, drop-bar position, motor assistance and handling.
