What motor does the Trax LT use?
It uses a Jiabo 500W motor that produces up to 50Nm of torque. Torque and cadence sensor modes allow riders to select their preferred pedal-assistance response.
What is the maximum assisted speed?
The Trax LT has a listed maximum assisted speed of 32 km/h.
What range can I expect from the battery?
The 48V 10Ah Samsung-cell battery has a 480Wh capacity and a listed range of up to 55 miles. Actual range varies with assistance level, terrain, hills, temperature, tire pressure, rider weight and riding conditions.
Can the battery capacity be extended?
Yes. An optional 240Wh piggy-back battery is available for riders who want additional battery capacity.
What suspension and tires does it have?
It has an aluminum suspension fork with 65mm of travel and Kenda Kwick Seven 27.5 × 2.2-inch tires for city streets, bike paths and uneven pavement.
Which frame sizes are listed?
Small is recommended for riders approximately 5′0″ to 5′7″, while medium is recommended for riders approximately 5′7″ to 6′3″. A fitting or test ride is recommended because sizing also depends on inseam and riding position.
What drivetrain and brakes does it use?
It uses a Shimano 8-speed drivetrain and Tektro Hydraulic HD-3520 disc brakes with sensors.
What safety and practical features are included?
